What is the Differnce Between Foldable Box and Shaped Box

Now is the busy season of lamp, fans and some home appliance. Most of these kinds of boxes are using fordable box like the first picture above. The advantage of these boxes is that it can be flat-delivery and easy to produce. Lamp and home appliance product always focus on quick-sell and fast consuming. Therefore, they will use a lot of fordable boxes with a nice picture printed on it. These packaging boxes are normally made by a corrugated paper mounted by a double-coated paper or an A-class paper. The corrugated paper makes the paper strong and tough and the double-coated paper are printed a picture on it. All the processes of the foldable box can be done by machine.






However, some producers want to make its product distinctive and high-end. They will use shaped box rather than foldable boxes like the second picture shown above. These boxes look more elegant and beautiful than foldable boxes, but it can not be folded. That means it is delivery as a whole box. These custom packaging boxes are combined by grey board and a double-coated paper. Sometimes we can also make a creative and different shape of it, not a regular rectangle shape. There are more changes and possibilities in shaped box.
